Barbara C. Craun

Barbara Charlene Craun, 69, of Athol, Idaho, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024. She spent most of her years on her beloved acreage, nurturing her gardens and finding peace in nature. A master gardener, Barbara had a passion for tending to her flowers, plants, and vegetable garden.

Cherishing life’s simple pleasures, she especially loved gathering around the bonfire with loved ones, sharing stories and laughter under the stars. She celebrated 50 years of marriage with her husband, Steve, this past August. She was a devoted mother to Rebecca and Stephen, and she adored her son-in-law David. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, Nathan and Tristan, who held a special place in her heart.

Barbara’s strength, radiant smile, and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to bloom in the gardens she loved and the hearts she touched.
