Betty Benjamin

On July 3rd the world stopped turning for the family of Betty Benjamin. She passed surrounded by her family. Betty was born on Nov. 6, 1929 to Morgan and Effie Vedder. Growing up she spent much of her time on her grandparents farm on Coeur d' Alene Mountain. She married Ed Benjamin on March 12, 1949. They had 5 children, Betty Kempton (Gary), Edgar Benjamin (Becki), Jeff Benjamin (Gayle), Judy Greenfield (Doug), Wendy Wise (Dean). Betty had 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Her capacity for love was unmeasured as she was mom, grandma or aunt Betty to anyone who came through her door. Mom taught us love and strength-the kind of strength she used until her last breath. A special thanks to Dr. Link for trying to help-we just got there a bit late. Thank you to Hospice House and our angel Chelsea Hall for taking the time to explain everything no one else would. There will be a visitation held on Friday July 13, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 PM at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth Street Coeur d' Alene, ID. The funeral will be held on Saturday July 14th at 11:00 AM at English Funeral Chapel.
