Betty Rhoades

Betty M. Rhoades, 67

Betty Rhoades was born April 4, 1950 in Wallace, Idaho. She then relocated to Coeur d’Alene and spent her youth living in downtown Coeur d’Alene.

In September of 1967, Betty met her soul mate, Harold Rhoades. In April of 1968, they pledged their eternal love to each other.

In December of 1967, they welcomed their first child, Dale Rhoades. In August of 1975, they welcomed their daughter, Robyn Borders (Rhoades). They were then blessed with their grandchildren Blake Rose and Donovan Rose.

Betty is survived by her husband of 49 years, Harold Rhoades of Post Falls; Son Dale Rhoades of Post Falls; Daughter Robyn (J.J.) Borders , Grandsons Blake Rose and Donovan Rose of Post Falls. She is also survived by her mother Jean Box and sister Dixie Box of Athol; Brothers Larry Box of Spirit Lake, Gary (Nancy) Box of Garwood, Brock (Laura) Box of Rathdrum and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and family from Harold’s lineage.

Betty was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was full of talent and it seemed there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. Her family will be forever blessed with her presence through her talented artwork and the things she created. Her physical presence here will be eternally missed by all those who loved her but she will never be forgotten or leave us in spirit.
