Bonnie Lea Roth

ROTH, Bonnie Lea

Bonnie passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, surrounded by her family. Bonnie was born September 9, 1934, in Littlefork, Minnesota, to Fred and Velma Shannon. At age 15, she moved with her parents to Twin Lakes, Idaho, where she met her future husband, Gus Roth.

Bonnie and Gus had 61 joyous years together at their beloved Twin Lakes home, where many treasured memories were made enjoying year-round lake activities with their extended family and friends. Bonnie and Gus also loved traveling, and took many trips to Mexico, the South Pacific, Europe, and several states.

Along with caring for her family, Bonnie loved golfing and painting, and also enjoyed her job working as a librarian with the Rathdrum Library for many years.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Vicki (Jim) Skidmore, Debbie (Mike) Judd, Elaine (Todd) Younker, Lori Roth, and Dan Roth; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jack, husband Gus, and grandson Dustin Younker.

Her family plans to celebrate her life at Twin Lakes this summer.
