Carl Franz Pfaff, 76, passed away at his home in Hayden, Idaho, on June 19, 2017. He was born on Aug. 9, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Carl Jacob Pfaff and Helen Edna Yicha.
He grew up in North Hollywood, Calif., and graduated from Princeton in 1962 with a degree in political science. Carl is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served as a radar control officer during the Vietnam War. After serving in the armed forces, Carl worked in several nonprofit organizations as a grant writer and administrator. After retirement, Carl donated his time to the Susan G. Komen organization.
Carl is survived by his two sisters, Leanna Pfaff and Linda Scott; daughter Meredith Kathleen Cohee; son Carl Pfaff; granddaughter Elizabeth Pfaff; stepdaughters Sabrina McEnaney and Samantha McEnaney; and his step-granddaughter, Lexi Karlene McEnaney.
