Cecilia Kologi

Cecilia M (Wettstein) Kologi, passed away October 18, 2017 in Hospice care.

Cecilia was born July 10, 1922 to Mary (Hansen) and Otto Wettstein in Long Prairie, Minn., where she was raised and attended school. She married Steve Kologi on May 1, 1943 in Long Prairie, Minn and then moved to Victoria, TX where Steve was stationed in the Army Air Corps. After the military service they returned to Minnesota and lived in St Cloud for 25 years; in 1974 they moved to Dalton Gardens, Idaho.

Cecilia and Steve raised seven children together and she was a loving mother and wife. A member of St Thomas Catholic Church, she enjoyed gardening, flowers, music, and raising her family.

Cecilia is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Eugene and Roxanne Kologi, Florida, Jerry Kologi, Minnesota, Dennis Kologi, Minnesota, Mike and Annette Kologi, Osburn; daughters and sons-in law Sharon and Bill Johnson, Dalton Gardens, Diane and Ron Bremer, Coeur d'Alene, Mary and Jess Hagey, Washington; 13 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, one brother and three sisters.

She was preceded in death by husband Steve, daughter-in-law Judy Kologi, two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held Monday October 23, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with The Rosary beginning at 6:00 PM at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth Street Coeur d'Alene. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday October 24th at 1:00 PM at St. Thomas Cemetery, Coeur d'Alene.
