Christine Lindsey

Christine Lindsey,94,of Post Falls, Idaho and formerly of Clinton, MO, died at her home Wednesday, May 16, 2018 just two weeks before her 95th birthday. Christine was born May 30, 1923 to John Anderson Duke and OsaMargueritte Wisdom Duke in Bentonville, MO. She attended school in Benton County and graduated from Blairstown High School in 1941. She married John Calvin Lindsey in June 1947 in Kansas City.

While living in Clinton, Christine attended First Presbyterian Church until 2014, when she moved to Idaho to live with her daughter and be close to her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother Harl Dukes, and sisters Ina Downing, Ethel Duke, and Maxine Ward. Survivors include her son, Gregg Lindsey and wife Laura, of Post Falls, Idaho; her daughter Sheila Till and husband Ken, of Post Falls, Idaho; her sister Margaret Cook of Harrisonville; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside interment services at Garden City Cemetery will be forthcoming. The family suggests memorial contributions in honor of Christine be made toHospice of North Idaho or the American Heart Association. Services are under the direction of English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, Idaho.
