Cleo Stach

Cleo Fay Frances Stach left this world on the wings of an angel to be re-united with her husband, Wally in his heavenly home. She was the oldest daughter born to Andrew and Gertrude Bertalan. Entering this world on Sept. 6, 1933 in Burlington, WA. She attended Hamilton grade school and graduated from Sedro Woolley High School in 1952. In 1953 she married Wally Stach and after 54 years of marriage, he departed for his heavenly home in 2007. They made their home in Snohomish for 46 years, moving to Coeur d’ Alene, ID in 1999. They loved their years in Idaho, camping, fishing, and seeing the abundant wildlife. Their favorite camping spot was up the North Fork, with their many dear friends. Spending time at Stribling Farm was very special indeed. Cleo was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Snohomish before transferring to Christ the King in Coeur d’ Alene. She is survived by her sons, Russell and David Stach, whom she loved dearly, daughter-in-law, Lori Stach; daughters, Jean Rude, husband Dennis, and Sandi Stark Austin. Grandchildren, Rusty, friend Lanette, Nicholas, wife Stephanie, Lora, husband Jason, Lance and Mac; and the most precious great-grandchildren, her beloved sister, Elaine Davis, nieces, Tammy and Debbie, nephew, Mitch, and many other nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Wanda Stach, and dear friend Don Frank. On Saturday September 30th services will be held at Christ the King Church in Coeur d’ Alene at 1:00pm with reception to follow. On Saturday October 7th, 2017 there will be a committal service at Zion Lutheran Cemetery for family only. Service to follow at Zion Lutheran Church at 1pm with reception in the Parish Hall. Memorials to North Idaho Hospice; Hospice of Snohomish County, or Zion Memorial Fund. May God guide you all safely as you travel your earthly home. Go in Peace. The many lives she touched, guided and fed cookies to is irreplaceable.
