Crucita ‘Christina’ Parades Olivas Shields, 80

Born in Tucson, Ariz., in 1937, Christina went to be with the Lord on Jan. 10, 2018, after a long illness. A special thank you to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene for making her final days so peaceful and comfortable.

Christina enjoyed cooking, sewing and giving to her favorite charities.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Shields; daughter, Belinda Sweeten; son, Conrad Joe Berg; son, Michael Berg; son, Christopher Berg; granddaughter, Paige Berg; Christen Sweeten and many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Christina was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie (Penny) Dishman, in 1999.
