Deborah Schueller

Deborah “Debbie” Marie Danielson-Schueller, beloved daughter, sister, wife, and aunt passed into the Lord’s care November 14, 2016 at the Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, ID.

Debbie was born in Dawson, MN, on March 23, 1955, to Donald “Don” and Alice (Mork) Danielson. She was raised in Madison, MN, and graduated from Madison High School in 1974. Debbie worked as a waitress where she met Michael R. Schueller. They were married September 4, 1976, in Madison, MN. She was also a seamstress and homemaker. In 1979, they settled in Rathdrum, ID.

Debbie was an active member of the Hayden Lake VFW Post 9831, where she held all post offices. She was also a life member of the Coeur d’Alene VFW Auxiliary Post 889. Debbie was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rathdrum, ID, and was very active in the Altar Society. For 20 years she was known nationally as Mrs. Ole the Cookie Lady of Yellowstone Trucking. Friends across the country will miss her and her cookies and expertise as a baker. Debbie loved animals, making jam, cookies and cakes. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and sight-seeing. Her greatest joy was helping people, she was a friend to everyone she met and faced life head on, full out, with no retreating.

She is survived by her husband, Michael of Rathdrum, ID; mother Alice Danielson of Inter Grove Heights, MN; sister Carol Knight of White River Junction, VT; brother Ronald Danielson of Rosemount, MN; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, foster children, and extended family and friends.

Debbie is preceded in death by her father.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday November 17, 2016, and Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Friday November 18, 2016, both at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 812 McCartney St, Rathdrum, ID 83858. A reception will follow the Mass at the Parish Center.

Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Monday November 28, 2016, at St. Michael's Church, 412 Third Street, Madison, MN 56256. Interment will be at the Madison Cemetery.
