Delores Mann Agee, resident of Post Falls, died April 4, 2017 after a prolonged battle with breast cancer. Delores was born October 10, 1943 in Boise, Idaho the fourth of five children to Donald and Vivian (Rolland) Mann. She graduated from Weiser High School in Weiser, Idaho. She joined the Army in 1961 and served two years at Fort Mead, Maryland. After being honorably discharged in 1963 she married James R, Agee of New Castle, Indiana. She worked for many years at New Castle State Hospital and Richmond State Hospital in Indiana as a psychiatric caregiver. While she loved the fall and her friends, she frequently returned to Idaho. She retired from Idaho State School and Hospital in Tampa, Idaho in 2006 after 40 years of caring for the mentally ill and developmentally disabled. She moved to Post Falls, Idaho in 2011.
Delores is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert, and ex-husband James Agee. She is survived by her son, Darrell (Judi) Agee, Oregon, daughter Heidi Eld (Boise), brothers Darrell (Alaska), Gene (Eileen) Coeur d'Alene, sister Lois Creamer (Boise), nieces Leigh and Carol (Ed) Boise. Friends and co-workers Barbara Cross, Tom Fiscal, Carolyn McCullum and Bar Canes of New Castle, Indiana.
A service will be held at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho at a date to be determined. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls, Idaho has been entrusted with the arrangements. Thank you to Hospice caregivers of North Idaho Hospice and Bristol Heights Assisted Living.
