Dennis Alexander Fishburn

Dennis Alexander Fishburn (Uncle D) passed away on January 18, 2025, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. 

 Dennis was born on December 11, 1955, in Decatur, Illinois to Lester J Fishburn and Thelnora E Fishburn third child of four siblings.  

Sgt Fishburn served 8 years in the United States Army, he was Pershing Missiles crewman in Germany he spent countless hours training and preparing for a National Security mission. He earned Ribbons and Metals and Army superior unit award, sharpshooter marksmanship badge grenade, just a few mentioned.

  He loved hunting and fishing competing in bass tournaments with his friend Mike, He also loved baseball and was a Chicago Bears fan. Can't forget the old western movies and game shows. 

 Uncle D was the unique type of friend whom you could call at any hour and he would show up willing to put his life and freedom on the line for you.  

He is survived by his siblings Diana McDonough, Lesta Prior, and Les Fishburn and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews 

We all love you and will miss you. 

Service will be held at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in April of this year. Arrangements by English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls.
