Derek Everett Curtis, age 17

Derek went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 7th, 2020. Derek was born Oct. 29,2002 in Spokane WA to Todd and Joy Michelle (Stavros) Curtis.  He attended New Life Church with his family.  Derek's favorite hobbies were snow skiing, wake boarding, camping, weight lifting, watching the Patriots, playing football, biking and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Derek was always driven to achieve perfection in everything he did. He lived a life with Godly character in service to others, always putting them first.  His tender heart was the guiding light in how he touched others around him. Derek loved the Lord and is now with his savior for eternity. He is survived by his parents Todd and Michelle, sister Haley, grandparents Daryl and Linda Stavros, Merlon and Mary Ellen Curtis, great-grandmother Hilma Curtis, Aunts and Uncles (cousins) Luke and Amy Stavros (Jordon, Alexa), Peter Curtis (Brooklyn, Benjamin), Scott and Erica Curtis (Amelia, Rosie) and Sara Curtis.
