Diane B. Flegel

Diane Flegel, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024 at her home in Hayden, Idaho. She was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on March 31, 1938, to Bert and Blanche Knutson.  She is preceded by her husband Eugene Flegel of 64 years, parents Bert and Blanche Knutson and sister Anita Calkins.    

She is survived by her three daughters Deborah McGraw, Loretta Flegel and Janine Albertson (Todd).  Her sisters Joyce (Gary) Kammeyer and Jodee Scott.  Grandchildren Justin Fruechtl, Natasha Geer, Kala (Josh) Cordell and Jonathan Albertson.  Great grandchildren Terrell Fruechtl, Cheyenne Richards, Josiah Richards and Titus Cordell.  Great great grandchildren Grey Fruechtl and Sora Mena.  Along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed life to the fullest.  She was an avid reader, loved music, walking Tubbs Hill, bowling, needlework, visiting the ocean and occasionally camping.  She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.  A small gravesite service will be held on Thursday 18th, 2024 @ 1:00pm, at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of North Idaho.
