Donald Haddrell

Donald George Haddrell peacefully passed in to heaven on December 31st 2020.

Don was born December 24th 1933 in Summerland, B.C. Canada to George and Eva Haddrell.  Being the first grandchild in the family, Don had all the affection from his loving grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.  Later he was joined by his sister Marleen and his brother Robert.

While attending school, don learned the skill of carpentry.  His new found skill was put to good use on the ranch he grew up on.

In 1968 Don met Thelma on a blind date.  It was a match for 52 years.

They moved to the farm in Post Falls in 1972.  During their many years together they raised seven children on the farm.

There were regular weekly bible studies held in the Haddrell home.  From this, Post Falls Baptist Church was started and Don was an active member of the church until his passing.

It was about 1985 when Don started his own construction company and named it Haddrell Construction.  Don decided to retire in 2000, so he sold his construction equipment and went fishing as often as possible.
