Elsie Boykin Keller passed away on Friday January 8th, 2021 at 11:15 PM at Kootenai Health Medical Center in Coeur D’Alene ID of natural causes. Elsie was born in Birmingham Alabama at Jefferson Hillman Hospital on August 31st, 1934 to Robert Clifton Boykin and Linnie Mae Smith Boykin. Elsie was the youngest of their three children, sisters’ names: Rebecca, Rosemary, and Elsie. Elsie was a beloved wife, sister, mother, aunt, cousin, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many.
Elsie married Franklin Monroe Keller Sr. on August 3rd, 1951 at the West End Methodist Church in Birmingham Alabama and was married for 66 years until the passing of her husband Franklin on September 19th, 2017. After Franklins passing Elsie lived in Southern California for 2 years before moving to Post Falls ID in 2019. Elsie was living at The Bridge at the Garden Plaza in Post Falls until her passing.
Elsie a lifelong Christian, is now reunited with her husband and family members who have passed in the kingdom of heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Franklin and Elsie are survived by their four children, Franklin Monroe Keller JR, Pak Keller Ingram, James Clifton Keller, and Gordon Robert Keller.
