Emma Chase

Emma was a ranch wife but her primary career was bookkeeper. She and J.P. later divorced and a few years later she married Leland C. Chase on May 11, 1973. To her great delight she became a step mother and grandmother to Lee’s children and grandchildren. She now had the large family she had always wanted. Emma became the caregiver and support of Lee after a plane crash left him disabled. She took on the task gladly and was rewarded with many years of love and happiness, more grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Emma leaves behind her daughter Karen Pulis, granddaughter, Brenda Kelley-Brace, and grandson Colten Carnahan, daughter, Carolyn Smalley, sons, Stan and John Chases and their spouses, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even great great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00AM, Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 at the LDS Church, 2801 N. 4th St. Coeur d’ Alene, ID with burial to follow at Coeur d’ Alene Memorial Gardens.
