Emma Lorene (Pullin) Chase 87Emma went to her heavenly home on Nov. 26, 2017. She was born in Young, AZ on Aug. 17, 1930 to Thomas Henry Pullin and Lillie Mae Saunders.
Emma grew up in the shadow of the Mogollion Rim being a rancher’s daughter. Her mother passed away when she was only seven years of age and left her in the care of her father and grandmother. On August 11, 1948 she married a cowboy (later turned artist), J.P. Kelley in Holbrook, AZ and had a daughter Karen. Living the nomadic lifestyle of a “Jack of All Trades” cowboy, Emma known as Rene, and later Lorie, owned and operated several businesses including cafes and motels.
