Erma Scott

E. Louise Scott was born in Sharon, Oklahoma on August 25, 1931, to the late Edward J. Butler and Ruby Butler. She had 2 siblings who have since passed, her brother Carl Butler and her sister Lois Butler.

She was also preceded in death by her late husband Troy Q. Scott.

She is survived by: Ronald Scott, Alan “Dirk” Scott, Brian L. Scott, Erin “Becky” Wright and Dodi Lyn Jordan.

She loved and adored her grandchildren: Kato Scott. Lena Scott, Jeremy Scott, Kimberly Peterson, Jeffrey Scott, Kristy Anstine, Joshua Scott, Kenna Smoot, Luke Casanova Scott, Anna Scott, Nora Scott, Benjamin Huckett, Jen Huckett, Autumn Wright, Ron Wright, Tim Evans, Dustin Scott and Dawn Jordan plus 16 great grandchildren.

She was known for her role as an Assistant VP of Mortgage Banking and a lifelong member of the Southern Baptist Conference. On the weekends she lent her time as a Sunday school teacher for decades, spreading her love of Jesus Christ wherever she went. In her later years she attended True North Church of the Nazarene with her son, where she made many friends.
Her favorite activities were camping, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. She was always up for an adventure.

She will always be remembered for her unconditional love of her family. They look back fondly on her witty jokes that brought everyone so much joy and her laughter and smile that lit up a room.

She will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Louise will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery at 2834 N Spokane Street in Post Falls, Idaho 83854 on Monday August 20th, 2018 at 12 pm. Following the graveside her family and friends will be celebrating the legacy of her life at True North Church, 10582 Government Way, Hayden, Idaho at 1 pm.
