Fred Houck

Fred B. Houck passed into rest on July 11, 2017 in Blanchard, Idaho, after a brief but fierce battle with cancer. He was born August 6, 1946 in Pennsylvania to Fred L. Houck and Catherine Baker Houck. Fred was married to Robbie Houck. He was an avid outdoorsman and active political junkie. Fred was also a talented water well consultant and site locator and he served in the United States Army.

Fred was survived and deeply loved by; two sons: Fred D. (Tierney) Houck and Bret (Julie) Houck; five daughters: Lisa (Joel) Shawen, Caryn (Rea) Hederman, Jen (Rob) Dyreson, Robin (Greg) Ragsdale, and Stephanie McAlister; 20 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and two brothers: Don (Joanne) Houck, and Ken (Lisa) Houck.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please make donations in Fred’s honor to Hospice of North Idaho at 9493 N Government Way, Hayden, Idaho.
