Gary Widmyer

Gary M. Widmyer 82, Of Post Falls, Idaho passed away Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Gary was born December 16th, 1938 in Mora, Minnesota.

Gary proudly served in the Minnesota Army National Guard for 6 years.

Gary was always active. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and outdoor sports. He was a member of North Idaho ATV, American Legion, Eagles, Lions, Rock Hound Club. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church.

Gary retired from Rouse Auto-body in Spokane, WA in 2000 after 40 plus years of painting cars. He had a passion for classic cars.

Gary is survived by his wife Sheryl Serdahl, They were married in 2008. Son Garry Widmyer (Leah), Daughters Gail Widmyer, & Pam Borek (Scott), 9 Grandchildren, Alexander, Calvin, Karra, Kristina, Nickolas, Johnathan, Justin, Aaron, Alicia, and 6 Great Grand Children,  Brothers Duane and James Widmyer, Sisters Marlene Germain and Darlene Letourneau.

He was loved by many Including his extended family. Stepchildren Michelle Bell and Scott Serdahl. 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren,  1 Great Great Granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cherie Widmyer. His parents Maurice and Marie Widmyer. Brothers Ronald Widmyer, Edwin Widmyer, Grandson Nathan Borek.

Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 10th, 2021 at 11:00 am at English Funeral Chapel 1700 N. Spokane Street, Post Falls, Idaho.
