Genevieve Goldia Stockton

Genevieve Goldia Stockton arrived safely home on Nov. 17,2024. Gen was born April 8, 1930 in St. Maries Idaho, to Ralph Spracklen and Stella (Tucker) Spracklen. She was the first of four children, Gen, Gerry, Chub and Judy. On March 21,1947 she married John Stockton, they would enjoy 50 years of marriage before dad passed in March 1997. Together they owned and operated “Stocktons Custom Meats” in Hayden Idaho.

 Mom loved being around people. She excepted Christ as her savior on Dec. 9, 1951. She spent many years serving at Bethel Baptist Church leading Bible studies. In fact mom and dad were charter members at Bethel 1954-1997. Mom’s life was centered around family and church. 

 Mom was proceeded in death by her husband, John, 2 siblings, and parents.

 She is survived by her youngest sister, Judy Ohse. Her four children, Ken Stockton, Harry Stockton (Bev), Becky Stockton-Laws (Larry) Tim Stockton. Grandchildren, Brock Stockton, Jeremy Stockton, Shawn Stockton, Matt Stockton, Cody Laws, Jaclyn Haugland and Eric Stockton. Ending with nine great-grandchildren.

 A graveside service with be held in the spring. 

The family would like to thank mom’s floor nurse, Ken for his loving care of mom at Cascadia. Thank you Ken.
