Grady Wayne McCurry passed away on  Aug. 21, 2020.  He was born to Doxie and Lillian McCurry on Sept. 6, 1929 in Bradyville, Tennessee. After graduating high school, he went into the air force in 1948-52.  He met Irene Fields in Coeur d' Alene, they married April 4, 1952. They lived in Spokane, Washington for two years and then moved to CdA. they had three children, Linda in 1954, Mike and Michelle in 1955.
Grady worked at numerous lumber mills and retired from Potalch forest in 1987. He owned and operated many coin shops in C'dA over the years in retirement. He enjoyed bowling, golf, playing pool, poker,and playing his guitar,singing,and writing songs and poetry.
Grady was preceded in death by his parents Doxie and Lillian McCurry, Sister Faye Clark, and Brother Eddie McCurry.
He is survived by his sister Viva Jerigan, daughters Linda Nichols, Michelle Cannizzaro, and son Mike (Teresa) McCurry. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
there will be a graveside service at Riverview Cemetery in Cd'A  Sept. 6,2020, at 1:00.
Memorials may be sent to Alzheimers Association.
