Greg Morse

Gregory Jay Morse (aka "Pappy") passed away Tuesday morning, September 27, 2016 in his home in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at the age of 62. Born on October 22 in Leavenworth, Kansas to the proud parents of Bliss Jay Morse and Evelyn Osborne Morse, he served as an AT2 in the U.S. Navy before marrying his beautiful bride, Kathy Harmon, in Gladstone, Missouri. Greg enjoyed restoring classic cars, riding his motorcycle, and being outdoors. He never missed an opportunity to go fishing or camping with his family. He loved music - singing and playing guitar, and wrote poetry or practiced photography in his spare time. His thirst for knowledge was especially evident in his passion for studying God's word.

Greg is survived by and will be missed by his devoted wife, Kathy Morse, his sister, Linda Berg, his beloved children and their spouses, Austin Morse, Evan and Jeanette Morse, and Adrienne and Scott Adams, and his grandchildren, Elaina, Logan, and Heidi, who were his pride and joy.

Services for Greg will be held Saturday, October 1, at 2:00 pm at English Funeral Chapel at 1133 N 4th Street in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Directly following the service, there will be a graveside service at Riverview Cemetery in Coeur d'Alene. A fellowship and memorial meal will be held afterward at the Cabana House at the Rockwood Lodge Apartments at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
