Jennifer Pomarico

Jennifer Lynn Pomarico, 43, of Post Falls, Idaho, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018. She was born Nov. 19, 1974, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Joel and Robin Pomarico.

She is survived by her father, Joel Pomarico; her brother, Antoni (Tony) Pomarico; godparents, John and Mary Ann Ryan; godsister, Melodie Morgan; her aunt, Virginia Bowman and uncle, Murray Thayer; cousins, Natalie and husband, Lawrence Lambros, Michele and husband, Gerald Hamilton and numerous cousins in Weymouth, Mass.

Jennifer’s mother, Robin Pomarico, preceded her in death and they are now together once again as mother and daughter in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jennifer was a lifelong resident of Post Falls, where she graduated from Post Falls High School in 1993, and afterward pursued a career in medical billing.

Many who knew Jennifer would say that she fought very hard to overcome the obstacles in her life. She had a fighting spirit and never gave up. She turned her life into one full of the love of God, her friends and family.

Jennifer would rarely speak ill of anyone who had wronged her. She was different in that her kindness ran very deep. Her altruistic heart would not allow her to ask for much. She was loving and selfless, and most did not know what hardships she faced. She did not like to be a burden on anyone, and silently won every battle she faced with a level of spirit most of us would be blessed to ever possess.

Summer was her favorite season. Jennifer worshiped the sun when she could, enjoyed the beach and barbecues with friends, going to concerts, cherries, dragonflies, and more so, attending church services with her friends and family at Real Life Ministries. She had recently joined the loving community within Real Life Ministries, and was baptized on Nov. 28, 2017, in confirmation of her love and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jennifer was truly happy for the months preceding her passing, and even jumped in Lake Coeur d’Alene with her brother, Antoni, for the Polar Plunge on New Year’s Day! She was grateful to be alive every single day, and took every opportunity to appreciate each experience she was given the privilege of having.

She would want all of us, friends, family and friends we haven’t met yet, to treat each other with kindness. Do not judge each other. And never miss an opportunity to say, “I love you.”

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2018, at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls. All are invited to attend.
