Judith was born in Ritzville, Washington at the Ritzville Hospital, her parents were Darrell Mayfield and Emma Engelhardt. Judith attended Moses Lake, Washington schools. Her parents were members of the Moses Lake, Washington Assembly of God church for over forty years. Darrell was a carpenter and he helped build the Grand Coulee Dam in 1930’s.
Judy, as she was known, was a member of the DAR and had a total of seven Revolutionary Soldiers in her family. She was a devoted religious person and was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.
Judy loved to see her grandchildren and great grandson Wade. Judy spent most of her time as a Air Force wife of over 35 years. Judy and John, her husband, were married in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho at the Hitching Post Wedding Chapel and were joined together for 56 years of wonderful marriage. She is survived by her husband John Donovan, one sister, Joyce Schmidt and husband Rich of Redmond, Oregon, three children, Michele A. Rohlinger and husband Mitch of Cheney, Washington, son, John L. Donovan from Oceanside, California, and son, Mark K. Donovan of Post Falls, Idaho.
She also had several nieces and nephews, grandchildren, Brooke Donovan of Washington, Haley Donovan of Yakima, Washington, and Allison Rohlinger of Cheney, Washington, Dawn Delmark from Alabama.
A sister, Joan Hebard of Lake Oswego, Oregon predeceased in 2010.
Judy will be greatly missed as she was loved by all she was in contact with and we can’t wait to see her in Heaven. One more thing: Judy just loved cats, the more the merrier!
