Kay Susanne Teisl
Our beloved Kay “Baby” Susanne Teisl was born to Bernard and Nicki Kramp in Colorado Springs, Colorado on 28 June 1972 as their fourth child. Kay passed to Heaven on 24 November 2024 after a courageous battle with kidney cancer, leaving no stone left unturned to a cure, including donating to medical science through experimental treatment in clinical trials.
She is survived by her mother, Nicki Kramp, her husband Mike Teisl, four adult children, Anna, Mary, David, and Ben, two teenage sons, Micheal Jr. and Tanner, a granddaughter, Natalie, and all of her siblings and several nieces and nephews. Kay was preceded in death by her father, Bernard John Kramp.
Kay had a great affection toward a country, all natural, lifestyle. There were always animals around her rural home and cowgirl boots in her closet, unless she was wearing them to cut a rug with her husband, Mike.
Smart as whip, and as strong as the Statue of Liberty. Kay graduated Valedictorian with her college degree, and excelled in her professional career as an accountant, press producer and eventually Director for the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association, which she left to serve several years as Risk Manager for the Spokane, Washington Region of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where she applied her love of land and nature.
Tremendously family oriented, Kay rarely missed embellishing in a good family get together. But it was her children that gave her the most pride, joy and love in her life. As she said within hours of passing: “They mean the world to me.”
Services will be held on Monday, 2 December 2024, beginning with a viewing beginning at 10:00am at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls, Idaho, to include a prayer service at 1:00pm, followed by a burial at 2:00 at the Post Falls Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org) or UT Southwest Medical Center (https://engage.utsouthwestern.edu/donate-now) who assisted with her clinical trial.
