Lynn Marie McGrath

It is with sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother Lynn McGrath who left us on October 4th, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her mother Glenda Johnson; brother Dennis Johnson; children Cole Schmidt (Roni), Hannah McGrath(Jerry), and granddaughter Brailyn (Cole). Lynn is preceded in death by her father Dale Johnson. After staying home with her children, Lynn worked for the school district for many years. Along with her love of raising her children and spending time with family Lynn loved raising golden retrievers, spending as much time outside as she could and for a long time enjoyed a great game of pool. Lynn was always the life of the party, and you would always catch her with a smile on her face. Everyone always knew where you stood with her. She liked you or she didn’t, it was black or white. As her children we are still trying to figure out which one it was for us (we know she loved us). 

Whispers of goodbye The winds carry whispers of goodbye, As we gather, teary-eyed, To honor the life you led, To cherish the words you said. In the flowers' gentle sway, We see your smile light the way. In the sun's warm, tender glow, Your kindness continues to show. Though you're gone, you're always near, In every laugh, in every tear. Your spirit lingers, ever bright, Guiding us through darkest night. 

Mom was a great woman who was truly loved and will be genuinely missed. .
