Theresa Miller passed away May 2, 2024 in Hayden, Idaho from heart failure.
Theresa was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 1931 to Frank and Margaret (Fruechtl) Bowman. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. She attended St. Thomas Catholic School and graduated from IHM Academy.
She married Kenneth B. Miller in 1950 and they were blessed with six healthy children, three sons and three daughters, and she was very proud of them all.
She and her husband enjoyed making blankets for the Project Linus Program. She enjoyed spending quality time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, including picnics, berry picking, swimming, and camping. She spent many retirement years fishing with her husband. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crafts.
Preceding her in death were her husband Kenneth, her parents, her brother Frank Bowman Jr. (Dixie) and grandson Christopher Lindsay. Survivors are her six children Michael (Linda) Miller Rathdrum, Idaho, Thomas Miller of Coeur d'Alene, and Daniel (Lisa) Miller of Harrison, Ark. Daughters Susan Miller Kuku of Anchorage, AK. Kristine Monaghan of Anchorage, AK, and Kathleen (Mike) Henry of Lake Havasu City, AZ. 21 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church on Wednesday May 8. Viewing will start at 9 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., followed by the burial at St. Thomas Cemetery.
