It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Szafransky announces that Mark passed away on January 19, 2018.
Mark was born on October 14, 1972 to Chris and Doug Szafransky in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He had a rough start after being born two months early, but Mark was a fighter!
Mark was raised in Rathdrum, Idaho and graduated from Lakeland High School. He was the oldest grandchild to Oscar and Joyce Peterson who preceded him in death. Mark is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Al and Dorothy Szafransky, cousin Suzanne Harris and aunt Linda Harris Dragstedt.
Mark is survived by his brother Matt (Amy), niece Brittany, nephew Christopher, and sons Trent and Michael, who were the lights of his life! He is also survived by his parents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him and will miss him terribly.
At his request, there will be no memorial service.
