Michael David Jacquot

It is with a deep sense of loss and much love that we mourn the passing of Michael David Jacquot of Hayden, Idaho on August 10,2024. Michael passed away peacefully under the care of The Schneidmiller House (Hospice) at the age of 51 years following complications of recovering from a vehicle accident 12 days earlier.

Michael was a proud resident of Hayden and was a 1991 graduate of Lakeland High School after attending three other Christian Schools in the area. At an early age, he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and became a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Coeur d'Alene (now Pathway Church). After High School, Michael worked with various carpenter professions to learn carpet laying, suspended ceiling installations, and several other trades which led him to launch his own business known as Jay-Co from which he did work for many individuals and businesses around the area. He will be greatly missed.

Michael is survived by his parents, Richard and Carol Jacquot, his brother Steven (Julie) Jacquot, and sister Cindy (Abdullah) Jacquot. He is predeceased by his sister Jena (Roger) Mills, his grandparents, Arthur and Elizabeth Jacquot and Alvin and Carla Park.

In Michael's earlier years he enjoyed camping, hiking and fishing. He enjoyed some limited travel and even traveled to Europe with a group from his church.

A Celebration of Life dinner is scheduled at Pathway Church (3115 N 15th St, CDA) on Thursday, September 12th at 6:00 PM.
