Michael Lee Kloos

Michael Lee Kloos, 75, of Coeur d’ Alene passed away July 11, 2023 in Coeur d’ Alene. Michael was born on June 14, 1948 to William and Virjean Kloos in Morris, Minnesota. He graduated from St. Anthony Village High School in 1966. Following Graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1967 serving four years and in Vietnam. He continued 2 more years in the Naval Reserve until 1973.

In 1973 he moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where he work in construction operating heavy equipment for various companies. Upon moving to Southern California in 1988 he met and married his wife Toddy on December 2, 1989. Together they moved to Coeur d’ Alene in 1992.

Michael enjoyed ice hockey, fishing, golfing, auto racing along with hanging out with friends and his dog, Indy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Steve Kloos.

Michael is survived by his wife Toddy, of the home,  son Dustin Kloos, stepson Joshua Lewis, stepdaughter Laurie Coats. Three Sisters and Six grandchildren Braedon, Tiana, Carter, Jaxon, Lincoln, and McKinley. A great-grandson Weston.

Graveside Services with Military Honors Friday, July 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Coeur d’ Alene Memorial Gardens. Celebration of Life following graveside services at 12:00 p.m. English Funeral Chapel Coeur d’ Alene.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mike's memory to the Schneidmiller Hospice House.
