Michael Ray O’Neil - 4/8/1970 - 1/22/2022 51 years young
He entered this world a preemie, weighing in at 4 lbs 10 oz, 16” long; exited weighing 306 lbs and measuring 6’5” tall. He passed away from unexpectedly from natural causes at 2:15am on January 22, 2022. Thank you to his coworkers and first responders for doing everything they could to revive him.
He was the baby of a large family, who affectionally dubbed him ‘Baby Huey’. His friends and coworkers called him ‘Big Mike’ or ‘The Hulk’ and his nephews called him ‘Uncle Ba-Hoo’. Whatever name you knew him by, we all knew what an intelligent, witty, talented giant he was. You always wanted him on your trivia team! He was a talented fabricator at Travis Pattern in Spokane, Washington, he was becoming quite an exceptional pencil artist, and what a witty jokester! Always spinning a tale that usually always ended with his big chuckle - oh how we will miss that ‘chuckle’!
In his 51 years of life, he had many challenges, struggles and a series of bad choices - landing him in some serious trouble. He was on the road to recovery and had dreams and hopes for a better future with his family; especially his children.
He is survived by his adult children, Luke and Jenae, his wife, Donna and his 10 yr old daughter, Isabel, his mother; Judith Gessner, brothers; Ed, Bill & Joe Hurd, sisters; Beth Parsons and Cassie Hurd. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
You will be forever in our hearts; Son, Brother, Cousin, Nephew, Uncle, Husband, Father, and Friend.
Until we meet again, Rest in Peace Baby Huey.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
