Mildred Westlake
Mildred Marie Westlake, 95, of Post Falls entered into the arms of our Lord on April 1, 2018 at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.
A beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Mildred enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, fishing, and hunting. She also loved to do crafts, scrapbooking, card making, and painting. Mildred loved to cook for her family, making Christmas goodies, and most of all, she enjoyed being with her family.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Laura Ramsey, brothers, Marvin and Milton, husband David, and son Melvin Sr.
She is survived by daughters Carol (Ted) Hiiva, Post Falls, ID, Sharlene Westlake, Post Falls, ID, grandchildren David (Kristie) Hiiva ,Post Falls, ID, Melvin Jr. (Heather) Westlake, Post Falls, ID, Annie (JJ) Millan of Iron Mountain, MI, and Kristina Jackson, Alpine Junction, WY, great grandchildren Justin (Liz) Goddard, Wheatland, WY, Jessica (Kael) Schreiner, Wheatland, WY, Cole Jackson, Three Forks, MT, Amanda Westlake, Post Falls, ID, and Kassidy Jackson, Alpine Junction, WY, great great grandchildren, Samuel Goddard, Layci Schreiner, Braelynn Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hospice House or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Funeral Services will be 11am, Friday, April 6, 2018 at English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
