Nola K. Mauch (Page) passed away peacefully on December 22, 2018 at the Schneidmiller North Idaho Hospice House. She was born in Hammond Indiana on January 14, 1939 to Robert and Lillian (Beyer) Page. Her family moved to Southern California in 1948, where she met and married Jack, her high school sweetheart. They were married for 61 years. In 1969, she and her family relocated to North Idaho. Here she enjoyed raising her family, gardening, volunteering, and sewing. Eventually, they moved to Dalton Gardens where she worked and retired from GTE as an analyst. After her retirement from GTE, she went to work at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene as a receptionist secretary for over 10 years becoming a valued and respected team member.
She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend to many. Her hobbies included gardening, traveling, camping, fishing, cross stitching and QUILTING. Her fabulous quilts were recognized locally and nationally. She cherished the friendships these activities brought into her life. She also enjoyed spending a good part of her summers at the cabin on Lake Pend’Orielle with her family and dear friends.
Nola is survived by her husband, Jack D. Mauch, her three children Lisa Dixon / husband Michael from Athol ID, Lynda Lynn / husband Michael from Otis Orchards WA, and Sam Mauch / wife Christina from Dalton Gardens ID. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, along with her dear brother Robert L. Page Jr, from Wilbraham MA.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother.
