Paul Prety Jr., of Rathdrum, passed away on Jan. 23, 2017, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Paul was born in Missoula, Mont., to Paul and Bernice Prety on Feb. 9, 1947.
He graduated from Coeur d’Alene High school in 1965. He then went on to graduate from University of Montana with a bachelor’s in accounting. He married Sandi Roadifer on July 12, 1981. She was the love of his life. Paul spent most of his life working in retail management including Prety’s Drive In, Kmart, and lastly retiring from Rathdrum Drug just a few years ago. He was a hardworking man, loved his community and the people he encountered in life along the way.
He had three wonderful children and six beautiful grandchildren.
Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Sandi Prety. Paul is survived by his three children, Janet Alverson, Paul Prety the 3rd and Jamie Francis. Also his sister, Garnet Prety.
Please join us in having a celebration of life for him at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at the Rathdrum Senior Center.
