Robert Bassett

Robert “Bob” Arthur Bassett, Post Falls, ID changed his address to heaven on October 23, 2017, after a long struggle with cancer. Robert was born in San Bernardino, CA on May 10th, 1944, to Walter Bassett and Edyth Dickson. He met Linda Clark in Bonners Ferry, ID and married on March 7th, 1974. He is the beloved father to 5 children: Kim, Rick, Jeff, Forrest, and Brook. Bob was an Eagle Scout and was awarded “Man of Tomorrow”. He was placed on the cover of Boy Scouts Magazine and greatly lived into the title. Bob served in the Air Force and worked as a logger, a meat cutter, an entrepreneur, and a pipeliner. He was an avid reader, loved a good cup of coffee, spending time outdoors, painting, collecting artifacts, cooking and spending time with family. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 11:00 am at Pinegrove Cemetery in Rathdrum, Idaho.
