Robert (Bob) H. Earle of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away on October 26, 2020 at the age of 82, at the Hospice of North Idaho Schneidmiller Hospice House.
Bob was born May 15, 1938 to Katie (Albertson) Earle and Ellis Earle in Park Rapids, Minnesota. He was a lifelong skilled laborer, working in various industries wherever he happened to find himself as he traveled the United States. When he wasn’t working, Bob loved nothing more than to be in the great outdoors, particularly fishing and camping.
Uncle Bob, as he was known to his friends and family in Coeur d’Alene, was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hayden Lake Chapter, where he could be found dancing and helping to set up karaoke every Friday night. He was also active in several VFWs over the years.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sister Donna Cook. He is survived by his sister Jean Hill; sons Robert (Paula) Beaton and Rodney Earle and daughter Shirleen Earle;grandchildren Lindsay (Eric) Beaton, Kevin Beaton, and Todd Earle; and great-grandchildren Robert, Ryan, and Vixelan. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews Larry Glover, Kathy (Marvin) Smith, Donna Glover, Margene Roark, Karen Custer, Lorry (Todd) Deming, and Chris (Melissa) Jessen; as well as numerous great-nieces and -nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date. In the meantime, donations can be made in Bob Earle’s honor to the Kootenai Humane Society in Hayden, Idaho.
