Rob married Carly Spence with her daughter Nora and they had their daughter Avery. They later parted ways.

Rob loved life to the fullest. He loved the outdoors, snowboarding, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and boating. His greatest love after his daughter Avery was music.
