Rodney Caudill was born February 5th, 1961, in Kalispell, Montana to Tom and Gloria Caudill. 

 He graduated high school and started working. He then married Polly Stevens and had 3 kids together. In 1990, they moved to Idaho where Rod worked for Vickwest & RSP in Spokane. He worked for RSP for 20 years before he suffered a stroke.  

In 2006, Rod got re-married to his current wife, Sherry Caudill, and gained 2 stepsons. In 2011, he had a stroke which left him disabled. In 2013, Sherry and Rod became foster parents and still have contact with two of them and claim them as their own children.  

Rod enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing with his grandchildren. He loved dogs and working on old trucks.  

Rod is survived by his second wife, Sherry Caudill, his kids Leighan Caudill and fiancé Nate, Cody Caudill and girlfriend Dorothy, Ryan Caudill and girlfriend Samantha, stepsons Colby Vodder and Richard Hodges and bonus stepdaughter Shauna Scarcello and husband Brandon they are all of Post Falls. Rod also has foster daughters Emily Mitchell and Brooklyn Huckabee and daughter in law Sarah Vodder. Rod is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Kim and Bob McVicker of Kalispell, brother and sister-in-Law Wade and Ruth Caudill of Kalispell. His father and stepmom Tom and Geri Caudill.  

He is also survived by his 20 grandkids: Kyle, Hailey, Jaden, Reese, Malachi, Brielle, Alieghia, Harlem, Skyler, Kira, Aiden, Elijah, Marley, Anabel, Owen, Easton, Matthew, Jason, Clayton and Caralyn. His nephews are Andy and Barb McVicker, Ben and Amy Caudill, niece Katie and Tom Foreman, great nephews Dunham, Deagan, Great nieces Amelia and Eloise Caudill. 

Rod was proceeded in death by his mom, Gloria Caudill and his nephew, Jeremy McVicker and his Father-in-law Jerry Falwey.
