In Loving Memory of Rodney Lewis Schreck 

1942 - 2023.

 

Rodney Lewis Schreck passed away peacefully the early morning of September 28th, 2023. Born in Kellogg, Idaho in 1942, and growing up in Murray, Idaho, Rodney’s life was marked by his deep love for the great outdoors.

 

Rodney found solace in the mountains where he pursued his passion for hunting, fishing, and trapping. His skills were unparalleled, earning him state records for Washington bobcat and Idaho steelhead. Those achievements stand as a testament to his mastery of the great outdoors.

 

Rodney was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Alice M. Schreck, cherished son Todd C. Schreck, and many other dearly departed loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of strength and resilience. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Terri Nye and husband Ron, his son Timothy Schreck and wife Melissa, his grandchildren, Chelsey, Travis and wife Britnee, Tina, Sierra, Vanessa, and great grandchildren Journee and TJ. 

 

Rodney Lewis Schreck will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. Rodney Lewis Schreck will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. As Rodney would say, “it’s time for a coonhunter’s nap.” May he rest in peace.
