Scott was born in San Fernando California to Donald Bullock Arries and Barbara Coye Arries. He was the youngest of their 4 children, Doug, Donald and Jean. After his parents divorce he gained 6 siblings when his father married June McCormack, Mike, Diane, Kathy, Judy, Kevin and Colleen.

Scott joined the Navy in 1971 and served as a Radioman on the USS Oulette during the Vietnam War. His last 3 years of service were at Pearl Harbor as a Drug & Alcohol counselor.

Scott met his wife Robin Hartley on January 3, 1978 in college. He told her on their first date that they were going to get married someday. They did marry on June 3, 1979 and had 2 sons, Mark and James. They brought Scott mutch joy by marrying two wonderful women Jayme and Olesha. He has 4 grandchildren, Haylee, Daphne, Charlotte from Mark and Jayme and Robert from James and Olesha. The grandchildren brought him much Happiness.

Scott worked in many job capacities over the years. His favorites were as a Psychiatric Technician with the criminally insane for 13 years and then as a Long Haul truck Driver for 10 years.

He loved camping, traveling throughut our beautiful country and just being with friends and most of all family. His faith in our Lord Jesus Christ sustained him during his adult life through its many ups and downs.

Scott left us unexpectedly and will be greatly missed. His sense of humor was one of a kind and will bring us joy as we recall his jokes and antics. We REJOICE in the knowledge that he is now dancing in Heaven!
