Scott R. Greco

Scott Raymond Greco passed away peacefully at the age of 58 on December 22, 2024, at his home in Post Falls, ID, surrounded by his loving family.  Scott was born on October 25, 1966, in Great Falls, MT. After graduating high school in 1985, he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Mountain Home, ID. In 1986, he married his high school sweetheart, Jamie, and together they built a beautiful life and family. They were blessed with two children, Zachery and Mikaya, and later welcomed four cherished grandchildren: Xzavier, Norah, Lily, and Fae.

 Scott had a deep passion for fly fishing and spent countless days at Jamie’s parents’ cabin on the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River, where he found peace and joy in the great outdoors. He also loved playing basketball at the RLM courts, where he combined his love of the game with his servant’s heart, mentoring and listening to others with patience and wisdom. Golf and camping with family and friends brought Scott immense happiness, and he treasured those moments of connection and laughter. A man of unwavering faith, Scott served as a security lead at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, alongside many incredible friends who became like family to him.

 Scott will be remembered for his steadfast faith, generous spirit, and boundless love for his family and his Christian brothers and sisters. His sense of humor, radiant smile, and incredible knowledge touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege to know him.

Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Jamie; their children, Zachery and Mikaya (Kevin); and his four grandchildren, Xzavier, Norah, Lily, and Fae.

 A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Real Life Ministries Post Falls, RLM2, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to “Hospice of North Idaho”.

 There will be a potluck after and we ask if you could share a dish it would be so appreciated. Scott will be deeply missed, along with his sense of humor, beautiful smile & the incredible knowledge that he carried. He lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
