Sheila Prim

Sheila May Prim was born on May 10, 1934 in Long Beach, California. Her father passed away when she was 2 and she was raised by Henrietta Neill, a dedicated single mother. There in Long Beach she walked to school every day and spent many hours playing with her best friend and dog, Toby until he went off to work in the war. Shelia went to be with the Lord and was reunited to be with her son Mark on Monday, January 28, 2019.

She met the love of her life there in Long Beach and was married to Fred Prim on March 31, 1950. They raised 3 wonderful children. Debbie, Christine and Mark. Sheila, Fred and their children remained in Long Beach until 1995 when they moved up to Northern Idaho.

Sheila was passionate about helping sick animals and always wanted to build a sanctuary to protect them and help nurture them back to health. She loved to sew, feed the birds and squirrels, go play bingo with her daughter Christine and could bake a mean pumpkin pie.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by all that love her dearly. She is survived by her wonderful husband Fred of 68 years, daughter Debbie, daughter Christine (Branko), grandson Travis, grandson-in-law Antun (Samantha), and great grandchildren: JJ, Bella, Ava, Dominick, Cole and Connor and loving friends.
