Sherrie Lynn Mayer

Sherrie Lynn Mayer, 77, of Hayden passed away October 23, 2024. Sherrie was born in Spokane, WA on April 6, 1947 to Walter and Marie Fischbach. She graduated from West Valley High School in 1965. Started Administrative Duties for Washington State University, Pullman, WA. shortly after graduation. She began working for the Idaho Department of Lands, Cavanaugh Bay, Priest Lake 1978. Retired from the department in 2009. For 20 years worked as part of the Administrative Staff as part of an on all-Incident Management Team. In those 20 years served on 70 plus project wildfires and 2 hurricane recoveries. Sherrie loved her garden and numerous pets over the years and travels to Mexico. She married Carl Ritchie on January 30, 2013 in Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother. Survived by her husband Carl Ritchie her son Jade Mayer, two daughters Tammy Davis, Terra Glaspey. Private Family Services.
