Steven Martellucci July 16, 1947 – January 8, 2025

Steven Martellucci, a retired contractor and proud Army veteran, passed away on January 8, 2025, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, at the age of 77.

Born on July 16, 1947, Steven built a successful career as the owner of his own construction business in Northern California. His dedication to his craft and hard work left a lasting impact on those he worked with and served.

Steven served his country honorably during the Vietnam War as a member of the 61st Assault Helicopter Company out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky. From January 1967 to January 1968, he worked as a Radio Teletype Operator and earned recognition as an expert with the M-16 rifle.

Steven had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found joy in nature’s beauty, particularly in sunrises and sunsets. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, hunting, and music—pastimes that brought him peace and fulfillment.

He is lovingly remembered by his three daughters, nine grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. Steven’s love for his family was unwavering, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held in June 2025 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery to commemorate Steven’s life and service to his country.

May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him and inspire gratitude for a life well-lived.
