Suzanne Sanman

Suzanne Sanman, 76, passed away Aug. 22, 2016, at Hospice House in Post Falls, Idaho, from complications due to a stroke. She was surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 2, 1939, in Spokane, Wash., to Harold and Ann McDaniel.

Married to David Sanman; they celebrated their 58th anniversary this month. Suzanne spent most of her years living in Clarkston, Wash., where they raised their two children.

Suzanne sold real estate, and always enjoyed meeting new people. Her motto could easily have been, “Find a reason to laugh, and it will provide a lifetime of entertainment.” She was an expert storyteller and enjoyed a good joke. Each and everyday she loved to laugh!

Suzanne and Dave spent many winter’s enjoying life with friends in El Mirage, Ariz. While traveling, Suzanne had the ability to meet and make friends anywhere she stopped. Most recently, she and Dave lived in Vancouver, Wash., and Post Falls, Idaho. Both of these cities gave her the opportunity to watch her grandchildren grow up.

Suzanne was a talented seamstress and designer. She often sewed and created fashionable clothing for herself and family. She had a flare for design and often recovered her own furniture.

Suzanne is survived by her husband, David Sanman; daughter Debbie (John) Click of Vancouver and son Ken (Nanette) Sanman of Post Falls; sister’s Joann Garrett of Tuscan, Ariz., and Carol Wesley of The Villages in Florida; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Suzanne will be greatly missed. Her stories, the ability to laugh easily and enjoyment of life will be carried on in the hearts of all who knew her.
