Verna M Harshbarger, affectionately known as “Nana” passed away at her home in Rathdrum, Idaho on July 21st. She was born December 17, 1920 at Blewett Pass, Washington to George and Mandy Clark.
She lived in the Wenatchee area moving to Spokane in the 1930’s where Verna worked 38 years for the Telephone Company, retiring in 1982 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law Vivian and Bryan Powers, extended family member Mike Harvey, grandchildren Gordon and Loni Harvey, Amanda and Scott Skogen, great grandchildren Tyler Skogen, Michael Skogen, Trevor Skogen, Kaitlyn Harvey and Brycen Harvey.
She is preceded in death by her husband Perry “Jimmie” Harshbarger, brother John Clark, sisters Vivian M Clark and Adeline Johnstone.

A visitation will take place Monday, July 25, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 6:30 pm at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
